Mission
Ascension Lutheran Christian School is a gospel based school lifting up the students, the families and the city of Gary Indiana.
The Purposes of Ascension Christian Lutheran school are:
- To assist families in bringing the gospel of Students of Gary so that their faith may grow.
- To provide an excellent structured education for students that will be a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
- To be a positive force and a solid building block for the city of Gary as it strives to become a more vibrant, responsive and dynamic community.
- To allow students to have interaction with Christian teachers and classmates so that the Holy Spirit may work through the word to strengthen faith in all students and.
- To be another strong Christian outreach ministry, along with the network of hundreds of Lutheran schools throughout the United States.
